Oregonians are all sleeping

Well we have come to the end of Day 1. I must say it was a great success and although everyone could have fallen asleep standing up they all got to bed around 9pm after doing presentations. We ended the night with going out to dinner and doing presentations from 8:30 - 9. It was amazing to see how much research the kids have done on each topic they have. I know Jheudy is excited to share much more info with the kids but we have to say from our end that we are very impressed and that Mrs. Coburn has done an amazing job preparing these kids for their trip. We will be leaving the hotel at 7am on our way to the orphanage where we will learn how to make some local cuisine. In the afternoon we will visit the active volcano of Poas where Jheudy plans on doing a hike in and around the cloudforest. We will be at an elevation of almost 9,000ft so Jheudy wants to make sure the kids get a good understanding of the cloudforest since that will be the only time we are at that high of an elevation during this trip. For the kids that did their presentations this evening who was Kelin, Hannah, Jessica, and Danny we thought you all did great. The picture I have posted here is from the coffee plantation. We are sitting inside where they store the coffee. The main client of this plantation is Starbucks!!!
